Blake, Marjorie (Midge) Jeanne 6-8-1928 to 4-30-2015 Beloved mother to four sons and a daughter, as well as grandmother, great-grandmother and sister to siblings Alice and Shirley. Preceded in death by her husband Robert F. Blake, daughter Rebecca Lynn Blake and sister Shirley Olson. Always a positive, happy person, Midge was devoted to her husband of nearly 65 years, and her sons, Donn, Scott, Timothy and Robert. Impossible to put into a short article just how she touched the lives of those she knew and loved. She and husband Bob were involved with the Meals on Wheels program, delivering to the elderly and infirm. Midge also volunteered at Presbyterian Homes and the Hennepin County Library, to name a few. Active in her church functions, she loved helping others. She will be sorely missed by her sons and daughters-in-law, 7 grand-children, and 7 great-grand-children. Gentle in style and demeanor, Midge was truly a lady, and accordingly put others before herself. Never shy about expressing her opinion, she nonetheless listened with an open mind to new ideas or perspectives. We are comforted by the knowledge that she is once again with Bob and Becky, and we know that we'll all be together again one day.
