Hillman, Randal Scott "Randy" 62, passed away peacefully at the Golden Living Centers Lake Ridge Nursing Home on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. Randy was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, uncle and friend. He spent the majority of his life in the Sturtevant and Racine, WI area. He graduated from Case High School in 1970 and received his bachelor degree at UW Parkside. Randy was united in marriage to his high school sweet heart and love of his life, Carol Hillman (Madsen). Randy took great pride and joy in their two children and the family that they raised together. He was a hardworking man, devoting many years to the finance and accounting departments of St Catherine's Hospital and Wheaton All Saints Healthcare. He loved fishing, hunting, golfing, bowling, baseball, and football. He cherished deeply the abundance of friends and family who filled his life. Randy's gentle sarcasm, generosity, and above all, his kindness touched the lives of many that were warmly welcomed into his heart. At the age of 57 he was diagnosed with semantic dementia. His family moved him to Minnesota to be near to them. Throughout this journey, he never stopped creating a world around him of humor, sensitivity, generosity, and joy. We are comforted to know he is at peace, but he will be missed dearly. He will forever bring joy to our hearts and a smile to our faces. Randy is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Carol A Hillman, daughter Lisa, son Dustin (Jen Stodola), granddaughter Cassie, brothers and sisters, Allen (Susie) Hillman, Gary (Diane) Hillman, Bruce (Betty Gunderson) Hillman, Brian (Beverly) Hillman, Sue (Dick Balke) Held, Cheryl (Sam) Wilson and Amy Sorenson; Sister and brother-in-laws, Helen (Steve) Ujvarosy, Barb (Wally) Ott, Paul (Vicki) Madsen, Mark (Judy) Madsen, Roger (Barb) Madsen, Sue Madsen, James (Linda) Madsen, Linda (Dan) McCabe and Karin Dinda, nieces and nephews; and special friend Allen (Lynn) Wright.
