Laskin, Harold "Butch" age 59, of Eden Prairie, passed away after a courageous struggle with cancer Sunday January 15th. Preceded in death by father, Sylvester Laskin; father- in-law, George Bernstein. Survived by loving wife and partner, Sandra; sons, Gary and Roisin Laskin and Bryan and Tesa Laskin; grandchildren, Max Sylvester, George Benjamin and Naiya Georgie; mother, Betty Laskin; sister, Eileen and Jim Mitson; brother, Michael and Emily Laskin; Aunt Anita Hallock and Aunt Rosaline Laskin; sister-in-law, Julie and Phillip Baker; many nieces and nephews. He was born May 20th, 1946 in Duluth, MN, where he married his childhood sweetheart, Sandra Bernstein. Harold graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1968 with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, where he continued, later receiving a bachelor's degree in business management. He started interning for 3M Corporation in 1967, where he worked for the next 39 years, achieving the position of Vice President. Harold enjoyed mentoring young engineers and volunteered his time at various business and educational organizations. Funeral services THURSDAY 1 PM at TEMPLE ISRAEL, 2324 Emerson Ave S., Minneapolis.
