Morton Lent

Lent, Morton age 89 of St Louis Park, passed away Mar. 10, 2015. Mort grew up in Duluth MN where he developed a love for water, boating and the outdoors. After graduating from Duluth Central High, Mort enlisted in the U.S. Navy Reserves for two years. Upon returning from the Navy, Mort graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Shortly, after graduation he married the love of his life, Rosie. Mort was preceded in death by his wife Rosella, parents Max & Sarah, siblings Ethel, Ben, Minnie, Sam, Sally, Sherman and Mutzi. Survived by children Mike Lent (Lynne) Kathy (Rick) Shamblott and Sara (Joel) Ginsberg; grandchildren Tom, Aaron, Danny, Jessica (Sam), Zachary, Jacob, Sam and Josh; sister Bessie Linden. The family wants to thank the staff at Unity Hospital for the extraordinary and loving care they provided to Mort, our father and papa. Funeral service 12 noon, THURSDAY at the ADATH JESHURUN CONGREGATION, 10500 Hillside Lane W., Minnetonka.
