Frigaard, David R. Age 46, of Roseville, tragically killed on Jan. 24, 2015. Beloved husband, father, son, brother, son-in-law, brother-in- law, teacher, coach, business owner, and friend to so many. David was loved and cherished so dearly by his family, his friends, his students, his co-workers, his second family at Frigaard's bar, and the community. He is survived by his devoted wife of 18 years, Denise (Cuta), and his loving children, Hannah (16), Robbie (13), and Ben (9). He is also so dearly missed by his parents Robert and Avis Frigaard, brother Ron Frigaard, sister Gwenn (Brent) O'Neill, sister Debbie (Dan) Nottestad, parents-in-law Dennis and Cheri Cuta, brother-in-law Craig (Karen) Cuta, and sister-in-law Kristin (Steven) Stai. He is loved by his nieces and nephews Shannon, Krissy, Nicki, Danielle, Ryan, Marie, Lauren N., Megan, and Lauren C. David is also so dearly missed by his students and staff at Park High School where he taught art as well as his other schools he taught in South Washington County over the past 14 years. His passions were in Gopher football, playing cards, art, and making his students feel safe. His other passion was his bar, Frigaard's, in the Willermedi (Willernie and Mahtomedi) community. A mass memorial for David will take place on Monday, February 2nd at 10am at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 1048 Hamline Avenue North, Roseville. Funds can be sent to Wells Faro Bank to the "David Frigaard Memorial Fund." David's favorite quote was "people either love me or hate me." To know him is to truly love him. He was the kind of person that superheroes want to emulate, since his passion for life inspired so many. The light in our lives ended way too soon, but his legacy will be carried on.
