Mohr, Algernon Jacob Age 99 1/2, went to be with his wife June in heaven on January 30, 2015. Also preceded in death by son-in-law John Stowe. He will dearly be missed by his daughters, Kathleen Stowe, Randi Carter, and "son" Scott Carter. Also missing him are loving nieces, Cindy, Lee, Sandy and their families, extended family, Bruce, Denise, John and all his bowling buddies. Al was a decorated WWII Vet and Bronze Star recipient. Al & June were married for 67 years and he missed her deeply. He was a dedicated family man with a strong faith. Proud South High Graduate with the Class of 2003. Al was always on the move, senior tennis, golf and even bowling up until the last month. He was loved by all who met him. He always had a smile and helping hand for anyone in need. Special thanks to all his friends at Bergan's SuperValu, Toby, Steve's Auto & Tire, Dr. Kimpell and the Mpls. Heart Institute, who gave us extra time with him. Thank you Allina Hospice for our last days with him. We love you Dad. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7110 France Ave. S., Edina 55435 on Thursday, February 5, 2015. A visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. with a service to follow at 11:00 A.M. Memorials preferred to the Wounded Warriors Project or the American Heart Association. Private interment at Ft. Snelling at a later date.
