Haedicke, John "Jack" After a courageous battle with brain cancer, John "Jack" A. Haedicke, 62, of Scottsdale, AZ, passed away peacefully on January 19, surrounded by family at Arizona Hospice of the Valley. Born December 21, 1952, in Jackson, MI, Jack always had a positive attitude and never stopped loving life. Obtaining his undergraduate degree at Michigan State and graduate degree from University of Michigan, Jack spent the next 20 years in corporate finance for various companies, followed by 13 years of self-employ-ment. Most recently from Eden Prairie, MN, Jack and his family relocated to Scottsdale, AZ in 2013. Jack married his wife of 32 years, Janice Jones, of Beulah, MI, on October 2, 1982. An outgoing and humorous guy, he enjoyed traveling and many outdoor activities, including biking, hiking, swimming, golfing, mountain climbing and skiing. Jack is survived by his wife, Jan; daughter, Caitlin; son, Matthew; mother, JoAnn; father, John; sister, Kay; and brother, Mark. A service will be held at Christ the Lord Lutheran Church in Carefree, AZ on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 3:30 pm. A Celebration of Life gathering will immediately follow.
