Donald W. Kahn

Kahn, Donald W. age 79 of Minneapolis, died 01/16/ 2015. Professor Emeritus of Mathematics at the University of Minnesota, and exceptionally talented musician, political strategist, photographer and raconteur. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, MN State Representative Phyllis Kahn; children Tamar (Daniel) McNally and Jeremy (Kate Conner) Kahn; 6 grandchildren; father Irving Kahn; brothers Alan (Linda) Kahn and Thomas (Marilyn Weitzman) Kahn. Private funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Planned Parenthood of MN, Institute for Mathematics and its Applications at the University of MN or Musicians in Debut International.
