Mohr, Joan S. nee Dignan Beloved wife of Jack Mohr, sister to Nancy Schroeder (husband John Schroeder), mother of Jenni Kistner-Gillet and Jeff Mohr, grandmother to Maddie and Tyler Kistner, Shaun, John and Justin Mohr and great grandmother to Bella and Gracie Mohr. Joan passed away peacefully in her Minneapolis home Saturday January 10, 2015 at the age of 84. She was from Cincinnati, spent 75 plus years in Cincinnati after growing up in North College Hill, married to NCH high school sweetheart Jack Mohr for 59 wonderful years. Joan lived a full life, enjoyed traveling, her family and so many wonderful friends. Joan enjoyed the outdoors, golf and tennis, was an artist and kept very busy with her many interests and friends. She showed much strength, resilience and faith throughout her life and was loved by many. Joan will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held Friday, January 16th from 6 PM until time of the Funeral Service at 7 PM at the Gwen Mooney Funeral Home, 4389 Spring Grove Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45223. Reception will immediately follow at the funeral home's reception center. Private interment at Spring Grove Cemetery (Cincinnati, OH). A Memorial Service will be held in Minnesota on a date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Paul United Church of Christ, 6997 Hamilton Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45231 or to Shepherd of the Valley, 12650 Johnny Cake Ridge Rd, Apple Valley, MN 55124.
