Kumagai, Ruth Kazue (nee Kazue Wakabayashu) age 92 of Brooklyn Center, MN, passed away peacefully at home on October 23, 2014. Born August 10, 1922 in Hanna, WY. Preceded in death by parents Zenjuro and Yoriko; husband Harry; brothers Fred and Roy. Spanning five family generations, she is forever remembered by her: son Robert (DeDe Van Slyke); grandson Nathan (Amanda); great grandchildren Alanna, Jude, and Aubrey; grandson Philip (Katie), great grandchildren Ellie and Noah, and Angi (Aaron) Anika Van Slyke-Crouch; and also by brother Henry. Private family observance and interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, MN. In lieu of flowers, memorials to The American Heart Association preferred. Living from her Christian faith and her heart, she quietly inspired love and caring in the lives of others. To all her cherished family and friends, there is gratitude. Following a gathering of families, she passed peacefully from this world into the loving embrace of God, who is our hope.
