Carla (Stueve) Hill

Hill, Carla Stueve of NE Minneapolis, age 74, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends, on October 19, 2014, after a 7-year battle with cancer. Survived by daughters Corynne (Scott Berg) Hill and Lisa (Scott) DeMars, grandsons Carter and Elliot Berg, and Chaz and Croix DeMars, brothers Joseph Stueve, Michael Stueve, and Phillip (Robin) Stueve, aunt Frances LaCroix, many cousins, nieces, and nephews, and numerous long-time friends. Preceded in death by parents Isabelle (Malik) and Edward Stueve, and other dear family members. A loving mother and grandmother, a caring sister, a deeply loyal friend, and a dedicated employee of the University of Minnesota, she will be profoundly missed by many. A gathering to share stories and celebrate her life will be held on what would have been her 75th birthday at Columbia Manor, Columbia Golf Club, 3300 Central Avenue NE, Minneapolis, on Sunday, November 16, from 2-5 pm. A special thank you to her compassionate and supportive medical team at the Cancer Center at Regions Hospital, and to the hospice staff at Saint Therese at St. Odilia for their brief but kind care.
