Peterson, Earl Glenn "Pete" of Andover, MN. Born August 7, 1922, died October 21, 2014, at Benedictine Health Center, New Brighton. Preceded in death by parents, Gena & Eddie, brothers, Francis, Lloyd and Milo. Survived by siblings, Bobby, Sally and Irene. Also survived by loving wife, Simmy; daughter, Gale (David) Swenson of Richfield; sons, Gary (Peggy) of Brooklyn Park, Alan (Paula) of Shoreview, Brian (Lisa) of Burnsville; stepdaughter, Denise (Vern) Bender of Eau Claire, WI; grandchildren, Chris (Joan), Eric (Michelle), Clare (Brian), James (Kristi), Mark, Ryan (Jen), Denelle (Brian), Nina, Ian, Cory, Drew, Cole, Bret; great grandchildren, Michael, Mathew, Luke, Addison, Alana, Avery, Bennett, Oliver, Sam, Kaydence, Cody and Connor; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Friday, October 31, 2014 at 12:00 Noon, Zion Lutheran Church, 1601 4th Avenue South, Anoka, MN with visitation 1 hour prior to service. Private interment at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Benedictine Health Center, 1101 Black Oak Drive, New Brighton MN 55112 and Zion Lutheran Church, 1601 4th St, Anoka, MN 55303.
