Blatzheim, Robert W. Age 91, of Edina, MN, Crosslake, MN and Punta Gorda, Florida, passed away Monday, October 20 , 2014 with his loving wife and daughter at his side. Bob was born in Mound, MN, the son of Alice and Edward Blatzheim and was one of eleven children. Bob served his country in the Army during World War II. After he returned from the service he was employed at Cream of Wheat where he met his wife Lorraine Burns. Bob spent most of his career at Graco in the finance department and after 35 years of employment he retired. He is survived by his wife of 64 years of marriage, Lorraine; daughter Nancy Berning (Rochester, MN); granddaughters, Katherine, Kelsey, and Michelle; brother, Darryl Blatzheim; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, 9 siblings and son, Robert E Blatzheim. Bob enjoyed playing golf, watching football games and spending time with his grand-daughters at the lake and Florida. He is known for his sense of humor, generosity and his kindness. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Annunciation Catholic Church, 509 West 54th Street, Minneapolis, Saturday at 10:30am with visitation 1 hour prior. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
