Schuffenhauer, Carol Ann "Kitty" (Née Frank) March 21, 1936 - October 19, 2014. Born in St. James, MN, she grew up in Prescott, WI. Preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Lucille Frank. Survived by husband, Gayle; daughter, Michele Polley (Jim); granddaughters, Katelan and Mackenzie, all of Fort Worth, Texas; sister, Laurine Baker (Dennis) of Punta Gorda, Florida; nieces and nephews. Carol died peacefully on Sunday morning, October 19th, at home with her daughter and husband at her bedside. She had Alzheimer's Disease and was ill for the last 11 years. She dedicated her life to the less fortunate. She spent 44 years at Anoka State Hospital for the Mentally Ill, working as an Occupational Therapist. Memorials preferred to the Alzheimer's Association. A memorial gathering will be held on Sat., Nov. 15 from 1 pm - 5 pm at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7110 France Ave. S., Edina, MN 55435 (952-924-4100).
