LeVoir, Robert J. Bob passed peacefully from this life the afternoon of October 15, 2014 surrounded by loving family and care-givers. Bob was born in Minneapolis, MN to Bob and Betty (Sharp) LeVoir. Bob and his wife Patty raised their family in the Twin Cities areas of Minnesota. After retiring from 31 years with the Star Tribune, they moved to Breezy Point, MN in 1999. In 2012 they moved to Sun Lakes, AZ. Bob is survived by his devoted wife Patty of nearly 50 years, his loving three children: Cheryl Freese (Rick), Michael (Susan) and Jeffrey (Molly); three grandchildren: Andrew Treichel, Brianna Austin and Ed LeVoir; and one great-grandson Zayn Treichel. Bob is also survived by his brothers Tom (Julie) and Jim (Young Mi); his mother-in-law Fran Affeldt; his sisters-in-law: Judy LeVoir, Jackie Jones and Sandra Shingler; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Bob and Betty; brother Jerry; father-in-law Dave Affeldt and brother-in-law Bob Affeldt. Many thanks to the Dialysis Units of Brainerd, MN and Chandler, AZ for their care. Also, thanks to the ICU and Trauma unit staff at Chandler Regional Hospital. Special thanks to the Lund Family Hospice Home. He will be greatly missed but we will reunite in heaven. Services were held on October 18, 2014 at First Baptist Church Sun Lakes. A second memorial service will be held in the spring of 2015 in Minnesota at a place and time to be determined. Arrangements by Legacy Funeral Home, Chandler, AZ.
