Hill, Adolph, Jr. Age 89, October 10, 2014. He was born on September 11, 1925 in Memphis, TN. He moved with family as a small boy to Nashville and graduated in 1943 from Isaac Litton High School. He was a WWII 397th Regimen the 100th Infantry Soldier. Earned a Bronze Star for Meritorious Achievement for Service in April 1945. He was a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity and Graduated Cum Laude on February 6, 1950 from Vanderbilt University. He married Roberta Padgett on June 6, 1953. They moved to Minneapolis in 1956 where he was employed by Pillsbury. He founded Source, Inc. in Minneapolis in 1961. He later married Frances Jane Means on May 31, 1996 and retired in 2001 and returned to Nashville. He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Bellevue, TN. He is survived by his wife, Jane Hill; daughter, Anita Hansen (Ron E.); sisters, Margaret Rainey and Jo Read; nieces and nephews including Michael and Randall Read of Nashville, Stephen and Bruce Punch. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church. Visitation will be 9 am - 10:30 am on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 800 Bellevue Rd. The funeral service will be 10:30 am on Thursday at the church. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
