Gehrz, Michael Robert age 33, of Forest Lake, died Friday, October 10, 2014. Michael proudly served his country as a Corpsman in the United States Navy; his heart was always with the Marines he served alongside. He was an outstanding husband, father, son and brother who loved his family deeply and will be forever missed! He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert G. and Mary L. Gehrz; maternal grandparents, Henry J. and Beverly J. Borchers. He is survived by his wife, Bridget; children, Breslyn (3), Aksel (1 1/2 ), Bristol (6 months); parents, Jim Gehrz, Cindy (Mary Schmitt) Gehrz; siblings, Catherine "Casie" Gehrz, Alyssa (Steve Verlennick) Gehrz; many other family and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 16, 2014 at Grace Church, 26680 Faxton Avenue, Wyoming. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00 p.m., Wednesday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake and 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
