Graziano, August W. (Gus) Age 96. Born November 20, 1917 in Portland, OR to parents Maria & John Graziano. He passed to his heavenly reward on Sept. 22, 2014 at the Folkestone Care Center in Wayzata, MN. A graduate of North High School, Gus enlisted in the U. S. Army during WWII serving his country for four years in the field artillery crossing Europe from Omaha Beach to the Battle of the Bulge before returning home at the war's end. He married Lorraine Weidner (Toody) who preceded him in death in 2000. They were married 54 years. He worked as a Minneapolis letter carrier in the U.S. Postal Service for many years until Gus and Toody retired in Sun City, AZ where they lived for 30 years enjoying friends, family, travel, and golf. He is survived by sisters Margaret Hecker and Rosemarie Barringer; brothers James and Richard and many nieces & nephews. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Wednesday, Oct. 1, at The Church of St. Patrick, (Chapel) 6820 St. Patrick's Lane, Edina with visitation one hour prior to Mass. Interment Ft.
