Klis, Marilyn Fakler age 79, of Minnetonka, passed away on Sept. 20, 2014. Marilyn was one of the first female systems engineers hired by IBM. It was there that she met the love of her life, Ed. In their 53 years of marriage they enjoyed traveling the world and entertaining family and friends. Marilyn led a deeply spiritual life and devoted herself to raising her children and creating a loving home for her family. She volunteered at Annunciation School where the children attended. Her passion for the arts led her to devote many years serving as a docent at the Mpls Institute of Arts. Marilyn will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by friends and family. Preceded in death by husband, Edward; parents, Edward and Mary. Survived by sister, Deborah (John) Woodworth; children, Kathryn (David) Wick, Stephen (Stacey), Daniel and Sara (David) Boe; grandchildren, Edward (Ted), Emma, Alexandra, Andrew, Christopher and Mary.
