Thomas F. Tierney

Tierney, Thomas F. Age 91, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 8, 2014. He was the last surviving member of his family of 4 sisters and 1 brother and his parents. His beloved wife, Marge, died in April of 2006. Together they raised a large, loving family: Kathy (Doug), Mardy (Bill), Mary (Greg), Tom (Lori), Theresa (Dennis), Molly (John), John (Carolyn) and Mike (Kari). His 24 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren gave him much joy and entertainment too! Survived by his dear brother-in-law Bud and his wife Nancy and his sisters-in-law Fran and Jeanette who were always in his prayers. Our deep gratitude and appreciation to everyone at Parkshore Senior Campus, Park Nicollet Hospice and Sholom Johnson Hospice and all his caregivers for providing a wonderful environment that helped him stay com-fortable, interested and engaged in the world for so long. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 13th at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 6820 St. Patrick's Lane, Edina. Visitation begins at 9:30 a.m. and the funeral Mass is at 11:00 a.m. Private burial at Resurrection Cemetery in Mendota Heights. Memorials to First Tee Minneapolis and Sholom Johnson Hospice.
