Eugene 'Geno' Vacanti

Vacanti, Eugene (Geno) Age 79, of Edina, passed away December 7, 2017. Preceded in death by son Mark and brother Vic. An active member of the Edina community for over 50 years, where he coached youth hockey and was a 49-year member of Edina Country Club. He was an Innovator in sports safety equipment, an entrepreneur and marketer. His legacy lives on through his family, the many lives he touched in the sports world and so many great friends. Survived by loving wife, Christine; sons Mike (Sue) and Jeff; adored grandchildren Michael, Brianna, Mia, Emma and Genna. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, December 27 at 1:00 PM at The Church of St. Patrick, 6820 St. Patrick's Lane, Edina, with visitation one hour prior to service. Memorials to American Heart Assn., American Cancer Society or donor's choice.
