Poley, Nancy (Liz) Liz Poley, age 82, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2017, surrounded by her children and daughter-in-law. Born and raised in Boston, she spent the summers of her youth on Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire. Liz attended Northfield School for Girls and Mount Holyoke College, marrying her husband of 55 years, Brooks, in 1956. Together, they lived in Philadelphia, Connecticut, Minneapolis and Hilton Head, and spent extended periods in Florida and Jamaica. She was a classically beautiful, wickedly smart, horribly funny, immensely talented and occasionally stubborn make that "determined" -- woman who was loved greatly and is missed terribly. Among her many passions, her family was always at the center of her life. As a mother she was unimprovable a constant supporter, guide, and cheerleader. In addition to her husband and children, she loved reading, travel, cooking, the Minnesota Twins, her many friends, and dogs of all shapes and sizes. She is survived by her four children, Susan Yeager, Brooks (Margaret) Poley, Stephen Poley, and Kate (Mark) Urich, ten grandchildren, and her sister, Susan Moore.
