Starr, Robert S. Age 92, of Edina, born March 22, 1925 the son of Lukas and Theresa Sostarits in South Bend, IN, passed away peacefully December 7, 2017 in Bloomington. Preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn and sister, Anna Janz. Survived by sons, Brad (Eileen) and Steven (Gwen); granddaughters, Erica (Dan) Erickson, Theresa (Pete) Sawyer, and Jennifer (Nate) Manning; great-grandsons, Samuel Erickson and Colin Erickson; great- granddaughter, Taylor Sawyer; and several nieces and nephews. Robert graduated from Indiana University and then began a career working with Remington Rand. In 1975 he moved to Minneapolis to start his own business, Office Products of MN Inc., later known as OPM Information Systems. He was a mentor to many of his employees through the years. The family wishes to thank all of the caregivers at Friendship Village in Bloomington for their excellent care and support throughout the past several years. Memorial service will be Tuesday, December 26 at 11:00 AM at Cross View Lutheran Church, 6645 McCauley Trail, Edina. Visitation one hour prior and after the service.
