Christopher 'Chris' Edstrom

Edstrom, Christopher "Chris" age 43, passed away Dec. 8. 2017. Chris was born on Nov. 21,1974 in Virginia, MN. He grew up in Coon Rapids, MN where he graduated in 1993 from Coon Rapids High School. From there Chris went on to graduate from St. Cloud State University with a bachelor's degree in finance. For the last several years Chris was employed and dedicated to his work at FourMation Sales in Rogers as a Sales Representative. His life was full of love for his family. Chris was passionate about golf and sports. Chris is survived by his parents, Zachary "Chip" and Mary Beth Gunnarson Edstrom; his brother, Zachary S. (Christina) Edstrom; his sister, Laura (Adam) Cason; nephews and nieces, Chase, Jack, Lucy, Olivia, Brynn and Maggie; and many dear family and friends. He was prceded in death by his grandparents, Walter "Bud" & Mae Gunnarson, Richard "Dick" & Lillian Edstrom; and his nephew, Grant Walter Cason. The family would like to give a very heartfelt thank you to the staff and doctors at Mercy Hospital and the University of MN Hospital for their loving and tremendous care for Chris while he was there. Mass of Christian Burial for Chris will be held in the Church of the Epiphany, 11001 Hanson Blvd. NW, Coon Rapids, MN 55433 on Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2017 at 10:30 AM, with a visitation one hour prior to Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.
