Pope, Robert Herman age 96, of Hopkins (formerly of Burnsville), passed in his sleep on December 10, 2017. Born to Percy and Beatrice Herman Pope on July 2, 1921 in Sparta, WI. He was a veteran of World War II, a graduate of UW - Madison and a lifelong Packer's fan. Preceded in death by his parents and his brother George; his daughter Allison and son Jon, and their mother Dot. Survived by daughters Roberta Broughton and Nancy Pope, daughter-in-law Lynnette Pope, nephew Mike Pope, and grandchildren Joey, Lucy, Jonathon, Sofie and Haley. Robert's funeral service will be 11AM at Augustana Chapel View (615 Minnetonka Mills Rd, Hopkins) in their chapel on Tuesday, December 19, 2017. Visitation will be 3-5PM on Monday, December 18, 2017 at Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel (5000 West 50th and Hwy 100) and continues one hour before the funeral service at Augustana Chapel View.
