Gessner, Anice Lucille (Sandeen) age 83, of Bloomington, MN passed away peacefully on Dec. 11, 2017, following a multi-year battle with dementia. Anice was born in New Sweden, MN and trained as an Occupational Therapist. She worked for Catholic Charities for 27 years with senior adults. She enjoyed serving as a Council Member, Sunday School Teacher and Superintendent, and Choir member at St. Stephen Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, a brother, and her daughter, Robin Sommer. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Richard; daughters, Ruthanne (Kevin) Mussetter and Amy McCormick, and grandchildren Jonathan (Lacey) and Stephanie Mussetter, Jacob and Emily McCormick. Celebration of Life service at St. Stephen Lutheran Church, 8400 France Ave. S., Bloomington, MN 55431 on Saturday at 12:00, visitation at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts are preferred to St. Stephen Lutheran Church or Alzheimer's Disease Research, 22512 Gateway Center Dr, Clarksburg, MD 20871.
