Poets, Samuel Teague Dec. 5, 1974 - Dec. 7, 2017 Today we celebrate our beloved Sam who succumbed to his relentless war with mental illness. Suffering much of his life, he found freedom on Thursday, December 7th. He was a true warrior and faced life with enthusiasm and courage. He had a generous and outgoing spirit and was gifted in the arts. He is preceded in death by his mother Linda, grandfather Merle P. Brown and uncle Rick. He is survived and cherished by his father Keith Poets, his brother Jacobs family (wife Ana and son Matias) as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A very special thanks to Sam's uncle and aunt, Terry and Fran Clark, for the gentle love and kind guidance they provided to Sam; it was unequaled. Sam was a remarkable man who accomplished some amazing things despite the odds against him. He was hard working, talented, resourceful and was known for his great sense of humor. He loved being in the water and was a very thoughtful gift giver; he had a BIG heart! Sam will be cremated, his family are planning a small gathering to honor and remember him, and they will notify loved ones by social media soon.
