Wright, Jacqueline Ruth (Clement) 93, died Nov.19, 2017 at the Silverado Memory Care in Bee Cave, TX. She was born in Omaha, Neb., May 25, 1924 to parents Gladys (Hayes) & Charles T. Clement. She was preceded in death by parents and brother, Charles T. Clement. She is survived by her devoted husband, Bill, they were married for 70 years. She was loving mother to Cheri (Bill) Lang, Susan Raymond, Karen(Steve) Erdall, Doug (Manatip) Wright, Terri (Fred) Ballard, dear grandmother to Shelley, Holly, David, Christy, William, Jackie, Brooks, Kevin, Sirintip, Andapon and 11 great grandchildren. Jackie attended U. of Nebraska, Lincoln, before marriage & graduated with two Associate Degrees (Art & Business) from Mira Costa College, CA, in later years. She loved art and was an accomplished water color painter. She was an active volunteer, involved in her children's scouting, school activities, PTA, League of Women Voters, and churches she attended, including being a deacon at the Village Church of Rancho Santa Fe, CA. Jackie was quite athletic & found time for golfing, winning several awards. She enjoyed travel & was able to visit many countries & lived in Australia for three years. She & Bill enjoyed their 14 years living in Deephaven, MN. She lived in many other states & saw each move as an adventure. Jackie always maintained a happy disposition & sense of humor, even in her most difficult last days. She & her family were grateful for the thoughtful tenderness extended to her by the Silverado staff, Westlake volunteers, & others as they cared for her with dignity in her struggles with Alzheimer's Disease. Jackie most loved time with family & friends. Her faith, kindness, patience, & joyful spirit served her well in life. It has been a "long good-bye", her light shines on in the many lives she touched. A memorial service will be held in Jan. at Lake Travis Church, Bee Cave, TX. Memorials preferred to Alzheimer's Association.
