Wucherpfennig, Chown Her After a prolonged battle with cancer, Chown Her Wucher-pfennig passed away on December 3, 2017 in Edina, MN at the age of 30. Chown was born on September 15, 1987 in Dallas, Texas to father Neng Her and mother Susie Her. She grew up in a large, loving family with two older sisters and three younger brothers. Chown was raised in the Dallas, moved with the family to Menomonie, Wisconsin in 2004. She resided in Burnsville, Minnesota since 2012. Chown married Matthew Wucherpfennig on September 29, 2013. Shortly after their marriage, Chown was diagnosed with Stage 3 cancer. Despite battling with this cancer Chown was dedicated to finishing her degree in Health Care Administration at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire. Chown was driven to share the word of God through her story, which led her to work for Lifeway Christian Book Store in Burnsville, MN. She remained a brave, iron-willed woman, even throughout her final months. Chown is survived by her husband, Matthew Wucherpfennig and his parents Brad and Nancy Wucherpfennig and his brother Nate Wucherpfennig (Christina Wucherpfennig); as well as her sisters, Xong Her Lee (Wang Lee) and Own Her; brothers Cheufue Her (Kao Nou Her), Fwj Her and Yeng Her; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would especially like to thank all the nurses, doctors and staff from Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital in Minneapolis, MN, for their excellent work and loving care; the staff at NC Little Hospice in Edina, MN for loving our Chown and being by her side in her final days. Funeral services will be held at the White Funeral Home, 12804 Nicollet Ave. S., Burnsville, MN on Friday, December 15, Visitation 5:00-8:00 PM. Saturday, December 16, Funeral service 11:30 AM. A luncheon will follow at the Presbyterian Church of the Apostles, 701 E 130th St., Burnsville. Chown requested to be laid to rest in Menomonie, Wisconsin.
