Schmidt, Ruth J. March 19, 1936-November 26, 2017 Ruth age 81 of Hudson FL, formerly of Burnsville, MN. Survived by husband of 55 years, Gerald Schmidt; children Lucille (Daniel) Christensen, William (Beth) Schmidt, Barbara (Daniel) Bremel; eight grandchildren Travis, Madeline, Shelby, McKenzie, Nathaniel, Benjamin, Anna, and Zachary and lovingly referred to as "Grandma Ruth" by many other children. Preceded in death by parents Joseph and Marguerite Schlarmann; sisters Marguerite Hennessy and Marie Leach. She knew Jesus as her Savior and her faith was evident by the way she lived. Visitation Monday, December 18 (10:00-12:00) followed by Mass, all at Mary Mother of the Church, 3333 Cliff Rd E., Burnsville. Memorials are preferred to The American Cancer Society.
