Duffy, Ann Marie age 61, of Edina, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on November 28, 2017. Ann Marie was born December 9th, 1955 in South Minneapolis to James and Margaret Doyle. She cherished her relationship with her parents, especially her mother, whom she referred to as the sweetest person you would ever meet. The second youngest of five children, Ann had a close relationship with all her siblings, particularly her sister Mary Kay. One of Ann's greatest joys was being surrounded by family and friends. She had a gift for welcoming others into her home. Never one to talk about herself, Ann always put others first. She would make time for absolutely everyone. She touched so many people on a personal level whether through her generosity, care, or concern. She was selfless and thoughtful and guided by the strength of her convictions. God was present in every aspect of Ann's life. Ann had love for absolutely everyone, a sentiment that has been echoed repeatedly in recent days. Ann's primary vocation in life was her family, a privilege she shared with her husband of 36 years. She was so proud of her children and looked forward to speaking with them, which was almost every single day. She had regular conversations with her brothers and in-laws for whom she had so much love. She was a true friend, a caring aunt, a devoted wife, and a loving mother. She reminded us that every day is a blessing. Words cannot express how much she is missed. She is the sweetest person you would ever meet. Ann is preceded in death by parents, James E. and Margaret H. Doyle; sister, Mary Kay; nephew, Sean; and niece, Kelly. Survived by loving husband of 36 years, Mike; daughter, Meghann (Kevin) Ronning; son, Michael (Deena); stepmother, Carol; brothers, Jim (Vicki), Bob (Holly), John; and many beloved nieces and nephews from the Doyle and Duffy families.
