Brown, Lily Ann age 88 of Bloomington, passed away November 19, 2017. Preceded in death by husband, Roger; twin sister, Lila; sisters, Duetta and VerJean; and brother, Ferd. Survived by daughters, Barbara Hegenes, Loreé (Rick) Campbell and Denise (Dennis) Peterson; grandchildren, Ashley (Jesse), Kandice, Joshua (Kate), Jenny (Devin) and Rachel; 5 great-grandchildren; ex sons-in-law, Gary and Dan; and beloved cat, Buddy. Lily and her identical sister Lila were born at their farm home in Lake Lillian, MN. Graduating from Atwater High in '47 the twins went to Willmar, becoming LPN's at Rice Memorial Hospital. Lily met Roger while he was playing town ball. The twins had a double wedding in 1951 and they raised their families a block apart in Bloomington. Lily was passionate about her precious Savior, Jesus, her children and grandchildren. She was the best at making her house a home where the aroma of homemade rye bread and coffee would welcome you.
