Mary Katherine Tschida

Tschida, Mary Katherine age 88, recently of St Cloud, MN, passed away on November 18, 2017. Mary was born in St. Paul, MN on October 4, 1929 to Florin and Marie Monn, and married Melvin Tschida on May 26,1948. She was very proud of her Swiss heritage and was a long-time member of the Swiss Benevolent Society of St. Paul, MN. Mary also volunteered many years at the Mary Ann Young Senior Center in Blaine, MN. In 2016, she moved from Blaine to St. Cloud to be closer to her family. Mary was a loving and giving person who was devoted to her family, by whom she was much loved. She is survived by her sister, Betty Esteb; son, Michael (Mary) Tschida; daughter, Judy Tschida; 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren & many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin; daughter, Jeanne; infant, son, Kenny, her parents and 5 brothers. Services are pending at this time.
