Geimer, Jacquelyn Ann (Frisbie) age 87, died on November 7, 2017. She was born in Ashland, WI on September 6, 1930, daughter of Chester and Helen (Bock) Frisbie. Growing up in Superior, Wisconsin she graduated from East High School and she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Medical Records Administration in 1952 from the College of St. Scholastica, Duluth, Minnesota. Jackie married Robert Geimer on December 28, 1957. She worked in her medical profession for over twenty years retiring from St. Mary's Hospital Medical Center in l985. Jackie volunteered for various organizations which included the Madison Area Literacy Council as a tutor and board member, Southwest Outreach delivering meals on wheels, the Dane County Parks Department working on prairie restoration and the Donald Park project, and with HospiceCare, Inc. for many years. Jackie enjoyed spinning and weaving with her Spindrifter friends, camping, hiking, and cross country skiing. After leaving her home of over 40 years in Verona, WI, Jackie moved to Minnesota, residing at Summerwood of Chanhassen since 2012 making many new friends over the past years. Survived by two sons, Thomas (Martha Merz), Australia, Clifford (Cristy Moreau), Superior, Wisconsin and a daughter, Rebecca (Douglas) Duchon, Chanhassen, Minnesota, eight grandchildren, Hannah, Marlesha, Dana, Cameron and Megan Geimer, Aaron, Amanda and Adam Duchon, a brother, Thomas Frisbie, a sister-in-law, Mary Ribich and a special son-in-friendship, Paul. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Geimer. A mass will be held at Summerwood of Chanhassen, 525 Lake Drive Chanhassen, MN at 11:00, Monday, November 27 with visitation at 10:00 and fellowship following the mass. A memorial mass will be held at St. Mary's of Pine Bluff Catholic Church with internment at Oak Hill Cemetery, Verona WI at a date to be determined. Memorials may be made to Summerwood of Chanhassen, the Madison Area Literacy Council, St. Mary's Hospital Medical Center or HospiceCare, Inc.
