Subiaga, Robert Warren Sr. ("Bob, Subi") Bob was born Sept. 21, 1945. Passed away peacefully at his home in Bloomington on November 10, 2017. Preceded in death by parents, Sotor and Dorothy Subiaga. Survived by life partner of 27 years, Cindy Barrick; sons Bob, Jr., Mike (Deb); and grandsons Alex and Seth; sister Becky Thomas; and close friends Jeff (Linda) Barrick, Susan Barrick and her husband, Jim Rose. Per Bob's wishes, he will be cremated and wants his ashes scattered on golf courses. Also, per his wishes, there will be no funeral but a celebration of life at his home sometime next golf season. Bob graduated from Edison High School in N.E. Minneapolis, carried mail for a time and then went on to business college and became an accountant retiring from the Mpls. Park Board. He loved sports of all kinds and when younger skied, played tennis, golf, wrestled, and did Judo. He was a member of a ski club and a backgammon club. For a time, he bartended and taught skiing and golf. He loved movies and later in life, playing video games and belonged to two different golf leagues. Besides the birth of his sons and grandsons, his proudest moment was getting a hole-in-one at Hyland Greens on the fifth hole on 7-21-15. He and Cindy enjoyed playing golf together, traveling together and sharing the great meals that Bob prepared. He had a great smile and wit and loved to make others laugh. He will forever be deeply missed and remembered by all those who knew and loved him.
