Foley, George 89, of Waterloo, formerly of Minneapolis, died at Covenant Medical Center on Wednesday, November 15, 2017. He was born on March 9, 1928 in Minneapolis, the son of Michael and Jeanette (Benik) Foley. George graduated from De La Salle High School in 1946. He served in the United States Army during World War II and the Japanese Occupation. George worked for Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company in Minneapolis-St.Paul and Waterloo for 31 years, retiring in 1987 as president of the Waterloo branch. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 20 at St. Edward Catholic Church in Waterloo. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, November 19 at Locke Funeral Home with a 4:30 p.m. vigil service. Condolences: LockeFuneralHome.com
