John BL Wong

Wong, John BL October 29, 2017, our father, John, was reunited with our mother, Myrna, in Heaven. He touched many hearts with his smile & genuine spirit of kindness. John was born in China, came to America in 1935. He took great pride by serving our country & joining the US Navy. In 1954, he married Myrna & replaced his naval uniform with his chef's uniform, when he became the owner of John's #1 Son. In 1981, they retired. John continued his love for Chinese cooking, gardening, & being with his family & friends. John survived by his 4 children, Michael Wong, Dayna WongPoe, Joni Yam, & Pamela Wong; and 6 grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John's name to the association of donor's choice.
