Barbour, Robert E. Age 90, of Richfield, MN. Passed away peacefully on November 8, 2017. Bob spent his career working as an electrical engineer and salesman. He met Kathleen while working at the Maico Diagnostics Company and married her two years later. Bob was a lifelong inventor and tinkerer, who also loved music and computers. Bob was active in the American Legion, Knights of Columbus and IEEE association. His other eclectic interests included pit crew for speedboat races, working on pipe organs and model trains. Bob was a devoted husband and father. Bob loved spending time with his grandchildren and granddog, Sadie. Preceded in death by children, Judith and Jeffrey Barbour. Survived by loving wife of 64 years, Kathleen; daughter, Jane (Rick) Kreyer; grandchildren, Robert "RJ" and Megan Kreyer. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, November 13th at 10:30 am at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 6730 Nicollet Ave., Richfield, MN 55423. Visitation one hour prior to Mass. Private interment at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
