Gervais, Steven Joseph Age 73 of Richfield, on October 20, 2017 of long term compli-cations of diabetes and acute stroke. He died peacefully, surrounded by his family and supported by 15 pairs of loving hands. He was reunited in Heaven with his parents, Joe and Anna Mae Gervais. He is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Judy; cherished daughters, Sarah Carlson (Lars), Allison Skogen (Mike); and his precious grandkids, Leah, Lukas and Emily, also, sisters Pat Campeau (John), Donna Alexander (Lee), Janet Demarais (Mike), Mary Streich (Bob) and brothers Ron (Sue), Bruce (Tootie), and Jeff Gervais. He loved being part of a big family including his 18 nieces and nephews and many cousins. Steve was born in Red Lake Falls, MN 9/4/44, graduating in 1962. He worked as a steel expediter at St. Paul Structural Steel, West Central Steel and Lejeune. He retired from Fort Snelling Cemetery. He was a strong PATRIOT who served his country in Viet Nam in the Army 12/67 to 1/69. Steve lived his life helping others with his expert knowledge of being able to fix, build or invent anything he could imagine and make it work. His work ethic and common sense will live on in all of us. He loved fishing, gardening, traveling and being in his garage. He was a hard-working, genuine and honest man. His favorite place was the "Lake". Visitation 10-11 am followed by Mass of Christian Burial FRIDAY, 10/27 at St. Richards, 7600 Penn Richfield. Luncheon afterwards, with interment at Fort Snelling Cemetery.
