Lisic, Michael The family of Michael Lisic extends an invitation to a Graveside Prayer Observance at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 28, at New Calvary Cemetery on Pinewood Drive in Cloquet. Michael Lisic entered into eternal life on Thursday, October 12, at the Solvay Hospice Home in Duluth. A Requiem Mass was held Saturday, October 14, at Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Cloquet with burial services following. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 27 years, Mary Shannon (Cain) and their eight children: Matthew (Clara), Paul, Dominic, Mark, Natalie, Mary Therese, Anthony and Nicholas; grandsons Ashton and Declan; his mother, Mary Lisic; his sisters Susan Rappaport and Janet Lucarelli; brother Johnny (Mary Ann) Florchak and many nieces and nephews. Others mourning his passing include Shannon's seven brothers and four sisters and their families. Michael was preceded in death by his father, Sylvester Lisic. Following the graveside prayers on the 28th, Michael's family will be at Carmen's Restaurant at 1410 Prospect Ave West in Cloquet for refreshments. For those who would like to join the family at Carmen's, a gathering area has been reserved. Arrangements are by Souder-Handevidt Funeral and Cremation Service, Cloquet, Minnesota.
