Edgar, Roger Sherwood Age 80 of Lakeville, MN passed away on October 19, 2017. Born on February 20, 1937, he grew up in Sanborn, MN. After attending Luther College and serving as a member of the armed services, he began his career at American Express Financial Services where he retired after 34 years. At that time they lived in Bloomington, MN where he and his wife raised their family. He loved baseball, golf, riding his motorcycle, and going to his cabin in Delta, WI. Roger was an extremely loving and supportive husband, father, and grandfather. He was an incredible leader and guide in everything he did. Roger is preceded in death by his parents Bruce and Helen, and his brother Keith. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Marcine (Hammer); sons Todd (Mary), Jason and Chris; grandchildren Isabel, Max, Colette, Abby, Joey, and George; and his brothers, Terry (Natalie), Bradly (Cheri), and Randy; many family members. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, Oct. 26, 2017 at St. Stephen Lutheran Church 8400 France Ave S, Bloomington, MN 55431. Visitation at 1:00 PM. Memorials preferred to Wounded Warriors In Action.
