Goff, Margaret Gertrude of Edina, MN passed away at Sunrise of Edina in Minnesota on October 16, 2017 after a long life of 93 years. She will be missed by her sister, Mary; special friends, Colleen and Todd Sarenpa and many relatives and good friends. Margaret was the daughter of Mathias and Frances Simons and spent her childhood in Stewart, Minnesota, eventually making her home in the Minneapolis areas of Bryn Mawr and Edina. She enjoyed her 30+ year career as an insurance manager within the Minnesota Banker's Association. Traveling was important to Margaret and her late husband, Fred. They traveled to numerous European countries and loved their little B&B get-aways throughout the years. During those travels they developed a love for antique clocks that gave them many years of enjoyment and memories of those travels. Margaret was devout in her faith and when she received that call from God, it was an offer she couldn't refuse as she was ready to be with Our Lord and to be reunited with Fred, Mom and Dad, her siblings, Helen, Lawrence, Evelyn, Richard, Lucy and Geneva as well as many long lost family and friends. A celebration of Life will take place at 11AM on October 25th at Our Lady of Grace, 5071 Eden Ave., Edina, Minnesota (952-929-3317). Visitation starting at 10:30AM.
