Kobilka, Mary Julia Passed away October 13, 2017, after a valiant 3 yr battle with Alzheimer's. Preceded in death by parents, Jerome and Mary Crane. Survived by loving husband of 59 yrs, Giles; children, Daniel, Mary Kay Pitts (Chris Jr.), Andy (Mollie), Julie Eiben (Gustavo); grandchildren, Christopher III, Nickolas, and Kelcie Pitts; Callie, Cassie, Caylyn, and Carlie Kobilka, Oliver Eiben; great grandchildren, Chloe and Addison Pitts; siblings, Jerome Crane (Mary), Catherine Stone (Paul), Michael Crane (Jeanne), and many loving relatives and friends. High school class Valedictorian-St. Josephs Academy, Phi Beta Kappa, Salutatorian of St. Catherine Univ. Class of 1958, taught English and Social Studies at Cleveland Junior High in St. Paul and Salem Junior High in Salem, Va. Long time member of St. Joseph's Parish in New Hope. Mass of Christian Burial 11:30 AM, Friday, Oct. 20, at St. Joseph Catholic Church (8701 36th Ave N, New Hope). Visitation 5-8 PM, Thursday, Oct. 19, at Gill Brothers Funeral Service (7300 42nd Ave N., New Hope, 763-531-1777) and 1 hour prior to Mass at church Friday. Private family burial, Resurrection Cemetery. Memorials preferred to charity of choice.
