Romm, David E age 62, died on September 15th in Minneapolis. A producer and host of the radio show Shockwave on KFAI for 28 years, "Baron Dave" was a prominent member of the Minneapolis science-fiction-fan community and an accomplished amateur photographer. He was a generous soul with a ready laugh, and a quick, playful wit. He will be deeply missed by his family and his many friends. He is survived by his mother, Ethel Grodzins Romm, and his brothers, Joe and Dan Romm, his sisters-in-law, Joyce Romm and Patricia Sinicropi, and his niece, Antonia Romm. The family is planning a memorial service on Saturday, November 25th in Washington, DC. Memorials preferred to the donor's desired charity.
