Sharon Louise (Kaul) Thoennes

Thoennes, Sharon Louise (Kaul) born December 5, 1943 in Mankato, MN and passed away September 15, 2017. She was the daughter of Hilgard and Esther Kaul. Just out of High School Sharon moved to Minneapolis and shortly after met Roger J. Thoennes, they then married May 4, 1963. 1964 Roger and Sharon moved from Minneapolis to the Urbank, MN area and purchased a farm where they were blessed with four beautiful children, Scott Michael, Lori Ann, Dale Allen and Michelle Marie. Sharon and Roger raised their kids on the family farm near Urbank, MN where they enjoyed horseback riding, camping and dairy farming. Sharon and Roger later then moved to Crystal MN 1985 where they currently reside. Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 54 years Roger J. Thoennes, children: Scott Thoennes, Lori (Jim) Reents, Dale (Teresa) Thoennes, Michelle (Kurt) Christensen, 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, four siblings Shirley Davis, Jan (Ken) Schiele, Barb (Roger A.) Thoennes, and Peggy Kaul. Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, Hilgard and Esther Kaul, mother and father-in-law, Lawrence and Marcella Thoennes, brothers-in-law, Rolly Thoennes, Larry Thoennes & Jim Davis, niece, Debbie Schiele, great-grandsons, Payton and Leighton Thoennes. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 21, 2017 from 5-8 pm at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 7301 Bass Lake Road Crystal, MN. Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 am Friday September 22, 2017 at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 7301 Bass Lake Road, Crystal, MN 55428. Visitation one hour prior to funeral at the church. Luncheon will follow the service.
