Johnson, Lyle Richard age 66, of Golden Valley, MN lived a great life, born March 30th, 1951 and moved on September 17, 2017. Lyle retired as a Supervisor of Streets and Vehicle Maintenance for the City of Golden Valley, where he worked for 30+ years. During that time he built a reputation for being an honest, loyal, hardworking man who put his all into everything he did. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and playing solitaire. Preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Marlys Johnson. Survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Cristy; children, Ellie (Bryan) and Brady (Catherine); four grandchildren, Taylor, Rachelle, Jadyn, and Bryan Jr.; sisters, Lynnette (Jim) and Paula (Bob); brother, Bob (Peggy); as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visitation will be held at Calvary Lutheran Church, 7520 Golden Valley Rd, Golden Valley, MN 55427 on Friday, September 22, 2017 at 11:00 am, followed by the memorial service at 12 Noon.
