Aldinger, Gaylord M. age 80, passed away Aug. 20, 2017 at Johanna Shores, Arden Hills with family members by his side. Gaylord was born in Winona, MN June 23, 1937 to Arthur and Lillian Aldinger. Married Maureen Harem June 7, 1958. After Maureen's death, he married Bonnie Heggestad May 1, 1982. Gaylord was Deputy Assessor in Winona, MN until he moved to Coon Rapids in 1967. There he was City Assessor in Coon Rapids for over 27 years, retiring in 1996. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend. He loved to spend time with his family and friends playing cards and woodworking. Gaylord and Bonnie loved traveling and spending the summers at Rush Lake and winters in Port Aransas, TX. He was a longtime member of King of Glory Lutheran Church. Preceded in death by his first wife, Maureen. Survived by his wife, Bonnie; daughter, Tami (Kipp) Eckert; son, Jeff (Delores) Aldinger; step-son, Eric (April) Heggestad; 3 grandchildren, Jaclyn Nowak, Ashley and Nicholas Aldinger; brothers, Edward (Esther) Aldinger and Sydney Aldinger of Winona; and many other relatives as well as friends. Funeral service Friday, Aug. 25 at 11:00 AM, King of Glory Lutheran Church, 10103 University Ave NE, Blaine. Visitation one hour prior to service at church. Interment Morningside Memorial Gardens.
