Fiterman, DeLoris "Dolly" Jeanne age 93 of Minneapolis, passed away peacefully in her home on August 19th. She is preceded in death by her husband of 26 years, Edward Fiterman; parents, Everett Janssen and Ann Meech Janssen; sisters, Grace Larabee and Shirley Mooney; brothers, Mural Janssen and Everett Sheldon "Shelly" Janssen. Survived by daughter, Kimberley Fiterman-Duepner and her husband, Gregory Duepner of New York City; grandchildren, Edie Duepner (Jacob Breslow) and Matthew Duepner. Dolly is remembered as a renowned art collector, a passionately involved civic leader and a generous philanthropist; recognized and honored for her expertise and contributions to the local, national, and international arts community, as well as, educational, religious, medical, and cultural institutions and organizations. Therefore, in lieu of flowers, donations are preferred: Temple Israel; the MIA, Weismann and Walker museums; the Minnesota Orchestra and Minnesota Opera; the Guthrie and Children's Theaters; the University of St. Thomas, the University of Minnesota, and the Arthritis Foundation are a few of the organizations that Dolly has supported.
