Phillips, Joan Grace age 87 of Lauderdale, MN passed away peacefully at Parmly on August 20, 2017 after a long battle with dementia. Preceded in death by her husband, Paul P. Phillips; parents, Louis and Agnes Mazzetti; brother, Donald Mazzetti; and great grandson, Lucas Foster. Survived by her children Lisa (Ralph) Kampa, Paul (Noelle Nelson), Adam, Dana (Rod Monroe), Norine (Steve Christian), and Samantha Holler; devoted grandmother of Alecia, Angelena, Ashley, Marie, John, Katie, and Nico; also survived by many great grandchildren. Joan was born in Brooklyn, NY and attended Long Island School of Nursing in the 1950s. She married Paul Phillips in July 1953, and settled in Lauderdale, MN where she worked for many years as a nurse in the emergency room at the University of Minnesota. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Friday, Aug. 25, 2017 (visitation from 10-11 AM) at St. Bridget's of Sweden Catholic Church, 13060 Lake Boulevard, Lindstrom.
