Theresa Beryl 'Terra' (Smith) Gude

Gude, Theresa Beryl "Terra" (Smith) Age 74, of Inver Grove Heights, MN passed away peacefully on August 2, 2017. Preceded in death by parents Lucian Theon Smith Jr. and Beryl Eileen (Scanlan), and siblings: Charles Paul, Lucille Catherine (Cathy), and Michelle Theon (Mickey). Born in Minneapolis, MN, December 5, 1942. She worked at Cemstone for over 25 yrs. She enjoyed her family, her garden, being outdoors, cooking and spending time with her partner & pets each and every day. We were blessed to learn many valuable lessons from Terra during her 74 years, among them; always learn from your mistakes and say what you have to with a smile on your face. Her modern style, fiery spirit and fabulous sense of humor are what we will all remember. She could capture a room with her smile, a forthright strong woman that passed down that strength. It will continue to be passed down by those she loved and those who loved her. You'd catch yourself dreaming of her cooking after just one taste and want all of her recipes. Terra was truly one of a kind, an amazing woman who made her mark on this world and is a soul never to be forgotten. Survived by spouse of 38 years, Sharon Link; 3 daughters: Sudie Felecia Gude, Lynn Zachreson and Lisa Pearson; 6 grandchildren: Nate & Dominique Lockett, Cameron & Alex Zach-reson; Gretchen & Hannah Pearson; 2 great-grandchildren: Ki'ani & Lyric Lockett and 2 sisters: Sheryl Ann Withers and Cindy Anne Pearson and 1 brother Lucian Smith.
